Welsh Chronicles Research Group captures attention of national press

On 25^th-26^th May 2016 the Welsh Chronicles Research Group held their third annual conference in the University of Cambridge. Following a press release by St John’s College (who co-sponsored the event), the BBC made contact with Research Group member Rebecca Thomas, a graduate student of the college.

The BBC’s interest in the chronicles of medieval Wales proved lively, as Rebecca was subjected to a series of vigorous questions concerning the chronicles, the conference and the activities of the Research Group in two live interviews with BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru. Aspects of the interviews crystallised into an article on the BBC News website, which may be read here.
